Here at Vander Woude Dairy, we strive to live by our core values of faith, family, and cows. It is our goal to provide a safe, healthy, and happy environment for the cows and our family of employees to produce the best product from the happiest cows in the dairy business. We milk 3,200 cows on our dairy in Merced, CA and ship our milk to the California Dairies Incorporated Cooperative. We are F.A.R.M. (Farmers Assuring Responsible Management) certified through the United States Government and our owners, Simon and Christine Vander Woude, are active representatives of the dairy industry on a variety of industry issues. These include water management and allotment, labor issues, and lobbying on a variety of other dairying aspects. Simon served as the California Dairies Inc. Co-op Chairman from 2017-2024, has served as a CDI Board Member, and currently serves as the Vice President for the National Milk Producers Federation and as a member on the board of the US Dairy Export Council.
